Hi, I’m Shirley!

I am a painter and writer, living and working in Ottawa, Canada, and have been displaying my artwork at group shows, solo exhibits, online and in competitions since 1995.

I welcome the chance to show you my artwork in person, if you live in the Ottawa area. If you live further away, I can provide the extra costs for crating and shipping. I also welcome the opportunity to complete an animal portrait for you on a commission basis, using your own photographs. All my paintings are framed, unless specifically described as unframed.

Do you create commissioned pieces of art?

Yes! Please contact me and we can discuss your unique commissioned piece. I’d be happy to bring your vision to life. Once you fill out my contact form, please email me an image of the artwork you would like to have created.

How do I purchase a piece of art?

View my available artwork and select the piece you’re interested in. Next, you will proceed to the bottom of the page to fill out the request for artwork form or simply contact me.

How much does your artwork cost?

Commissioned pieces of art will be quoted based on your request. Available artwork pricing is listed with each piece of art in the online gallery.

What will happen after I request to purchase a piece of art?

Once you’ve requested a piece of artwork, I’ll be in contact with you shortly to discuss your purchase. Once you’re ready to purchase, I will send you an electronic invoice and contract for you to sign.

In addition to the cost of the artwork, there may be costs for packaging and delivery that will be discussed prior to purchase.

How do I make a payment for your artwork?

First, you will fill out the form at the bottom of this page to request to purchase artwork. Once you have requested a piece of art and we have discussed the details of your purchase, you will then be able to make your payment via e-mail money transfer in Canada, or through Paypal. 

The cost of packaging and shipping will be additional to purchase price.
