Ottawa Multimedia Fine Artist

Hi, I’m Shirley.

have been active in the Ottawa arts community since 1995. I studied painting at the Ottawa School of Art, studied art history at Carleton University, and mentored with Bob Grant and Dana Brezina, two of Ottawa’s best art instructors.

I have won awards and recognition with Mitel Corp., the Ottawa Bluesfest and the Ottawa Orchid Society, as well as with local arts organizations. I am a member of the Ottawa Art Association, Ottawa School of Art, ArtEast, Arts Ottawa Network, Colored Pencil Society of America, Ottawa Watercolour Society, and Nepean Fine Arts League.

What people are saying…

“No matter what the subject matter, whether a still life, landscape, or portrait, Shirley captures the light, life, and color creating harmonious compositions that are timeless.”

“As a former gallery owner and current museum Exhibitions Manager, I’ve had the pleasure of working with and knowing Shirley Moulton for 20 years.  Her work has advanced over the years by building on a background of classical training and her dedication to the arts.  Shirley’s detailed and precisely rendered artwork demonstrate a keen sense of observation and the skill to work in many different mediums.  No matter what the subject matter, whether a still life, landscape, or portrait, Shirley captures the light, life, and color creating harmonious compositions that are timeless.”
